Outpatient counseling can be an effective tool in helping children and youth deal with personal and family issues. Family Counseling System of Care provides navigators to help link children under 18 years of age to outpatient counseling services in Pinellas County.
While your child’s need for counseling activates the navigator, the entire family can benefit from the services provided. Counseling, case management and referrals for other social services are provided to parents and siblings, offering a holistic approach to strengthening your family and building a healthy community.
FCSOC is a partnership between PEMHS and these community agencies:
Directions for Mental Health
Family Resources
Family Services
Pinellas Support Team of the Children’s Home
Suncoast Mental Health
System navigators will help find the right place for your child to receive counseling, taking into account the issues to be addressed, location and transportation needs.
