Not everyone experiencing a crisis needs to be admitted to a crisis unit. Sometimes an intervention with appropriate support and resource referral can give you what you need to make a plan for how to proceed.
The Recovery Room offers a safe place for individuals for up to 23 hours. Therapeutic and support staff provide observation, assess needs and make referrals to community resources. In the event that admission to a crisis unit is needed, the staff will coordinate the admission to make the transition as easy as possible.
