Based on an assessment of needs during an intake process, a Largo Strong system navigator chooses the appropriate channels and community-based partnerships to connect the client to services and serve as a case manager until the successful completion of the desired goals specific to the client’s needs. Largo Strong uses PEMHS’s own resources and established programs when appropriate. Some of those services are Family Services Initiative and Building Strong Families. PEMHS specializes in intensive wrap case management, financial stability education, community service, resource linking for stabilization, and if needed, the use of the incidental pool for mitigation of need and barriers. Largo Strong uses expanded services currently provided and Largo-specific supports for employment and long-term stability. The Largo Strong Navigator develops and maintains collaborative relationships with our long-standing established partners specific to Largo: Largo Chamber of Commerce, Largo Rotary Club, Coral Heights Sienna Neighborhood House; Largo PCS schools; and Largo Parks and Recreation Department.
