Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services (PEMHS) has been committed to providing care in crisis since 1981. Our dedicated staff and comprehensive range of programs are designed to meet the needs of children, adults, and families to build strong communities. PEMHS is a private, non-profit behavioral health care organization located in Pinellas County, Florida. Programs include a 24-hour suicide hotline, emergency screening, and crisis intervention services, inpatient services for adults and children, and community-based programs. We understand that high-quality services are necessary to obtain the best outcome for individuals and families facing behavioral health issues.
PEMHS is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families and by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. PEMHS is also certified by the American Association of Suicidology and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Main Campus consists of crisis and emergency mental health services units, access center, PIC Team, IMPACT, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT), administrative and training facilities, as well as executive headquarters. Crisis and emergency services are open 7 days a week, with staff available 24 hours a day for newcomers in need of immediate attention or those staying on the premises.

Palm Way Campus is the Community and Family Services location, in addition to the program services, we provide a small Food Pantry, Food Case distribution, Baby Boxes, and Market Place – a dignified giving program for those in need of emergency items such as clothes, shoes, and small housewares; the campus is open Monday –Friday and staff are available 8 am – 6 pm. There is also a community training room located on campus.

Crisis services for adults and children, residential services for children and community-based programs are located at 6 locations throughout Pinellas County.

HIPAA and AUXILIARY AID

PEMHS will not share or release information regarding a client's diagnosis or treatment to any individual or agency unless specifically authorized, in writing, to do so by the individual client concerned.
AUXILIARY AID
PEMHS provides Auxiliary Aids/Interpreter Services to clients and companions who are dead/hard -of-hearing and/or communicate in a language other than English at no cost to the client.
